Miui 12.5 encryption doesn't work on mi mix 2s

Is there any way to enable data encryption on the device? Firmware 12.5.1 stable, mi mix 2s device. Encryption doesn't work after a clean install. Previously, it was the same on the developer version. I was hoping the situation would change with the update, but doesn't work after the update in the same way. After pressing the button and entering the password, nothing happens.

Sorry for you but nothing has changed with 12..5 EU rom on MIX2S phone generation, you have to encrypt yourself as you did before.
