MiUi Music from New ROM looks the same as old

I've tried to install later versions of the MiUi Music app with the slick black UI, but they look the same blue UI as before. Is there a way to get it to look black? Is it just froyo thats the problem? Is there a theme I can install? I'm running 1.3.5 on Samsung Epic 4G (most recent available for my device).

Version 1.3.5 is running under android 2.3 and has the older ui (iPhonish) this is why you got the old one, though I had seen that version 1.4.29 of miui is available (includes the new black ui)
