Invalid More than 29 volume steps doesn't work anyway

Hi there, I am new to this forum so sorry if I didn't get something right.

I am using MIUI 12.5.19 on K40, this rom is so much more stable than those custom ones, but when I try to increase the volume steps by setting prop like on aosp, it just doesn't work with number greater than 29.
After that I did days of research, tried every xposed modules, modding framework.jar service.jar miui.systemui.plugin but no success anyway.

I just couldn't understand this. And accidentally I found this:

So I want to know is this related to my issue? If true why it isn't merged to the later stable ROMs?

It is linked to your "issue" as in, trying to increase the volume steps broke the audio for some devices.

Which is why it has been set to default.
So yes..it is merged to the stable ROMs

That hack doesn't work properly, we know this for a long time now, that's why we don't touch that prop any longer and save ourselves the headache.
Not sure why you posted in our Bugs subforum, can't see how tinkering with our ROMs' setup is our problem.
