Are you trying to unlock the bootloader?
You have to make sure that you have installed fastboot and adb drivers.
Boot your phone in Fastboot mode, connect it to PC and then on a command prompt window (terminal) run the command:
fastboot devices
This command should list id's of devices connected to your PC in Fastboot mode, in this case your phone id.
I have MI10 Pro with xiaomi.eu 22.7.19 weekly rom, my question can I update without any data and passwords loss update to stable 14 ROM? As just update without any loss? Thanks
Check this out:
If you are going from MIUI 14 (or later) Weekly ROM to MIUI 14 Stable ROM, you are doing a downgrade, so format data is mandatory!
So, by formatting data you gonna lose all your data from phone. You must do a backup first, obviously.
Check this out:
I don't want to downgrade, I want to upgrade, because my current android is 12 and my miui version is 13 and I want to change it to a stable version 14. For this upgrade. Formatting is also mandatory if I upgrade? Thanks
Make a backup to all your data and then try it.
I don't know how stable will be then.
Theoretically a major Android upgrade implying a lot of system changes.
To be honest I don't have a correct answer.
