I am using poweramp as my music player and I noticed that it is entering sleep mode although I haven't enabled it.
Eventually, I have found out that I accidentally enabled sleep mode on the default miui music player and it caused also poweramp to sleep...
This was very annoying and I thought I'd share the solution in case someone else has also had this problem.
