Any way of making this louder? Even at highest volume Is quite low, can't here very well when on the train.

Well then its not the volume for the phone its the volume of your own songs that limits it.
some songs have very love volume so it means you can't listen to the song very loud other songs have very high volume so it can play very loud without turning the music to loud
so you should check the songs out and see if its on all songs or just change headphones i have no issues at all except for songs i now about that have very low volume
