Nandroid Backup Disappeared.

I noticed (randomly) that after upgrading ROM weekly xiaomi.eu disappear the nandroid backup. same thing also on Mi Note 2. before update for safety I run always a nandroid backup and you create the folder twrp / backups /f8686.../7.1.19 (example). this folder remains but when I update ROM disappears. of course the thing is not normal, place that the reason of nandroid backup is just to be able to restore the unfortunate case where you verification problems installing a new ROM or updates. but if it disappears you are in trouble. after myself aware of the problem I did the nandroid backup of both device on a sd external using a USB adapter / OTG. you wonder if you have idea of how to avoid the disappearance of the folder "backups" between an update and the other. sent from my mix using tapatalk

I always backup to an external device as I don't trust the Internal partitions being overwritten.
