Need help with Mi 10 ultra china rom

Hi. I'm currently using mi 10 ultra china rom (outside of china). I have already installed google play a few months back.
Question: Has anyone here using mi 10 ultra china rom, uodated to miui 12.5? Is GSM still working?
Been meaning to update to 12.5, but am really worried that it would block me from using gsm.
Any insight would be much appreciated.

Hi,
I updated to miui 12.5 yesterday and can confirm gsm is still working. I'm currently using on EE waiting until I can unlock the bootloader.
