No Security Updates!?

Hi,

I have a Redmi Note 2 with the newest MIUI weekly ROM. Everything works fine so far, but I have one problem. The security patch level is 2016-12-01. Why the hell there where no security update since 10 Months?
At the moment I'm really afraid to use the phone. Especially I don't know how I can use my MiBand without risk, because of the Blueborne security holes.

Any idea how to taken the phone to an acceptable security level?

No mention anywhere of security patch updates for xiaomi.eu roms, only regular otas of full ROMs. Somebody must have goffed big-time.

I know, but it doesn't fix the security hole. It only says that my phone is vulnerable. And to use any Bluetooth device in combination with the phone, I have to turn Bluetooth on on my phone...
