Have any of the developers given thought to re-introducing the top bar for the battery indicator. As you can see below, from just the basic control centre icons, already a large chunk of the notifications line is taken up by just basic indicators. With the 'hole', the starting point for the notifications is already some way over.
Bringing back the top bar battery indicator will help relieve some of the congestion.
