Ota's Affecting Root

Hi! I recently rooted mi Xiaomi Mi 5X i have xiaomi.eu rom which is miui 9.2.1.0 and i need to know if when there is an update and i update the device will i loose root or have any problem?? I dont have problem with loosing root just need to know if i loose it at updating by OTA, Thanks!

Generally yes, you lose the OTA.

Unless you have a TWRP that will fix this problem. Some Xiaomi phones have been developed for that. (Redmi Note3 SD, Mi Max...)

use the root Magisk, will be a firmware update and do not lose the root
