Invalid PiP settings gone, Max1 helium

The settings for PiP (Picture in Picture) are gone in EU 8.11.8 for Max1 helium.

That IMHO is undesireable, it should be possible to disable PiP for selected apps as before

Also PiP does not seem to work for all apps, have not had time to check this fully yet.

Seems to work normally for VLC (which has its own internal setting for PiP), but not at all for Google Maps.

PiP settings still gone for Max1 Prime helium, but still there for Mix1 lithium. (8.11.15)

PiP works only for VLC app, not for Maps, Firefox, GPS Status.

This problem seems to be only in helium.

Please do your homework before reporting the same nonsense again and again.
There is no PiP for Android 7.0. Mi MIX is on Android 8.0, so not sure why you're even comparing the two.

VLC has it's own implementation for pre-Oreo devices that utilizes the "display over other apps" feature.
