Resolved Play disappears on HTC Desire

Hello,

I have just installed MIUI-2.4.13 on my HTC Desire GSM and I am having a problem with Google Play store.

It first shows up as "Market", and when I open it, it updates to "Play". After a little while, it disappears from the list of apps. I can find it in "Manage applications", and if I uninstall updates, it shows up again as "Market". It is reproducible; I have done it three times now.

I have tried deleting the dalvik cache and I have tried deleting the app's cache. No luck.

Can anyone help me with this?

Since 2.4.13 is nearly 5 months old, the GAPPS are pretty out of date.

Your best bet it to flash this: http://goo.im/gapps/gapps-gb-20110828-signed.zip (gapps for gingerbread) and that'll update all associated google stuff.
