New Playback widget remains active even after Spotify app has been closed

Whenever I close the Spotify app on my device, the playback widget remains active in the drop-down notification panel meaning I have to manually remove it. The widget is also automatically active when I restart my phone. This is very annoying because the widget takes up quite a lot of space in the notification panel and I would rather it not be there when I am not using it. When the widget is active in the notification panel it is also active on the lock screen where it similarly takes up a lot of space. It keeps coming back, only way to get rid of it, is a restart.
Im using MI 9T Pro
Xiaomi.eu ROM
12.5.4. STABLE

I don't think you are speaking about a widget, it's a media notification.

So I tried this but I stuck on Point 4

4) A pop-up will ask you to authorize ADB via USB => Allow

This Pop-up is not appearing. I have only the points in which I can choose whether he should "only charge," etc.
I just skipped this point and tried over command line but it just says:
The command "adb" is either misspelled or
could not be found.

EDIT: Anyway I got it. Needed to install ADB Setup Drivers or something. It worked! Jesus im so happy! Thank you so much for this workaround!
