Invalid Portrait Mode on Camera not working

My camera app on my Redmi Note 13 pro+ works fine. However when going to the portrait option it says:

Can't connect to the camera - this app will be closed in three seconds.

I already tried the following:

- Soft reboot
- Factory reset
- CIT test (gives a pass for all options except for the macro option which gives a fail)
- Deleting cache from the app.

How do I fix this?

Same here i have 14 pro cn i just found out lately when i enter portrait mode it says cant connect to camera

We don't even support MediaTek devices here, so I assume you're using an official ROM, in which case you should seek help on official Xiaomi forums.
