New Power botton Google assistant shortcut, PLEASE FIX

Press power botton for 0.5 seconds will not stay on, it's, such a handy feature please fix it, I'm on a cc9 rom 9.9.26. I used it in a shop before and a really hot girl looked at me and said that's so cool, it, was great, please sort it

Has been a long time since this bug started.
Even activated, if you restart your smartphone, you need to re enable it. Everytime.

I have the exact same problem on my Mi 9t using 9.9.26, and even on older rom i had the problem, it works but after some hour, it just stop working, or as Guzansky said, just a reboot of the phone is making stop working..

Yes it just stops after a while, maybe it's to do with ram management or background tasks
