In Progress problem in all miui roms .. pleas help!

i liked this rom .. but i have a problem in all miui roms... my phon((galaxy s2 GT-i9100)) ...... when i call someone when he calling another person .. no thing notify me ((call is waiting)) like this image ....Is there a solution for this??

I just called someone who was on the phone, and I got a busy message, but no UI change. What more do you want? I don't see what the problem is.
 
I'm talking about waiting message not busy message...... no waiting message in all miui roms i installed ... what is the solution?
 
when the person u called speaking to another person on the phon and he activat call waiting .. u supposed to get waiting message like image in the main post ..the problem in miui (no waiting message)
the same case but he don't activat call waiting .. u get busy messag. and ther is no problem in this
 
i hope that there is a solution..i loved this rom but this problem make me use it short time and chang to another rom..itis the best if this problem solved

I was busy.... Can't always respond. I still don't understand the difference. The audio noise is the display.
 
I've just tried to replicate the problem.

-I've phone #1 busy in a normal call.
-I use my sensation XE (phone #2) with 2.9.29 build and call the phone #1
-Miui ROM dialer gives me a busy tone and hang up

So maybe it is something related to your build or your phone, maybe attaching a logcat or some more details will help iBot and the others developer replicating your issue.

You can also try checking the last line in the dialer setting. There is voice that should sound something like "automatic redial". In that case the miui continues to ring without any special notification, as soon as the receiver phone hangs up you get your call dialed.

When the Call waiting is active:
you'll call someone while he's having a call, phone will display "Waiting" message and keep the call ringing.

When the Call waiting is disabled:
you'll call someone while he's having a call, phone will play busy tone and hang up.

This is the difference between Busy, and Waiting.

busy tone and hung up when #1 disable call waiting..but when activat call waiting. in my original rom (call is waiting) appears (like the image in the main post) and keep ringing ... in miui roms ringing whithout (call waiting) message
note: (call waiting) means that the person u calling(#1) is speaking(not ringing) to other phone #3

This isn't a bug, and network name isn't a bug, and failing to get network location without GPS isn't a bug, and the extreme delay in homescreen and lockscreen isn't a bug, and camera FC isn't a bug, and not being able to get root access through adb isn't a bug....
what could possibly be "more threatening bugs" to deal with?

I like your joking attitude, but until you learn how the inner workings of working with an international company work I'd suggest you let us handle this.

As I say time and time again. If people would just posts steps to reproduce, with version, phone and logcat. Then I can go straight to Xiaomi. Until then we have to argue to get the information that's needed.

It's not an easy take for 2 guys to manage 22 devices for over 150,000 people in our free time without getting paid. We do things faster if people meet us halfway.

I think you can survive with this bug..iBot and the rest of the Miui Crew made miracles whit this Rom...and our shameless isn't justified! Patience guys,patience... ;)
 
I have never had a problem switching between calls, ignoring the second call or hanging up the first and answering the second.

I seriously think the Xiaomi phones and the NS are the only phones with decent ROMs.

All source ROMs are fine. GNEX, NS and MI/MI2. Everything else random bugs due to the pathetic bloated stock base instead of an AOSP tree base.

I understand. so i made a small tutorial to make the logcat.
may i ask you to make it sticky for a while so everyone can see it?
or maybe move it to the bugs forum?
