i have the problem that i want to use "Android Auto" with my car.
When i download the app and start it for the first time on the cellphone it wants me to grant permissions.
This is normal and i grant every permission that it wants.
But then comes the next screen where it asks me grant "APP Overlay". I click on next and come into the setting where i can grant this permission.
But then nothing happens. There comes a notification on top of the screen that "Android Auto is checking permissions" but nothing happens and after about 15 seconds this message disappears and i can only go back to the set up screen of android auto.
The only choice i have is to go next and then i am in the same setting to acitvate app overlay. Which is already activated, but it wont go further in setup.
Has somebody the same problem or knows a workaround for this problem?
For your information, im on the latest Xiaomi EU Weekly Build which is based on android 8.
