Question about M2A price and producton

Hi,
I've been looking into buying the M2A for some time, recently Xiaomi released two more phones, the Honami and the M3 so the price of older phones like the M2A/S should drop.
Now the M2S's price really did drop but the M2A's price is pretty much the same, the lowest I could find it is 280$.

So my question is, is it wise to wait more for the price to drop ?
Also, I read somewhere that this phone is out of production and won't be available soon, is this true ?

The price won't really drop much because the resellers have already bought them and mark them up to make money. If you want one I'd say go ahead and buy one now.
