Question: Can Someone Explain Dual Sim?

Hi!

I recently ordered Xiaomi Mi5s and would like to try out dual SIM. Having both my work phone and private phone as one seems like a nice idea.

But how does it work practically having two SIM cards in the same phone?
Can you have profiles so that the work phone is the active SIM between 08:00 - 17:00 or similar setups?

Both SIM cards will be active at the same time (unless you disable one) and you can choose a preferred SIM for mobile data, SMS & calling.

Thanks for your answer! Is it possible to tell which SIM is being called?
Can I tell if some unknown number is calling my private or work number?

It should say the name of the SIM that's being called. (by default the name of your provider)
