I~ have a SGS2 and would like an ICS theme, are these any decent ICS themes for miui and is it possibly to mod the battery icon easily?

Open up Theme Manager, go to the online themes and search for "black". Look for Black Ice. That is a ICS theme.

Yes, you can easily change the battery icon with a little effort and 7zip, though there are lots of great ones already built into many MIUI themes.

This will provide you with some to help you get started. You'll just have to search a bit because there are quite a few threads discussing how to change your icons in the mtz(theme file) that you are using.
You can change everything in MIUI's top bar pretty easily, including carrier logo, 3G signal, Wifi, Clock, etc.
