Red Rice root only without changing ROM(Using last english stable)

I saw that my apps are installed all in internal memory and that is not good, because the space is limited there and i have installed a 32GB cat 10 SD card, which is almost free(except from the stable ROM version zip i downloaded and store there)

I also notice that the app mobileuncle has the ability to switch installation area to SD card, by simply making that choice.
Bad news is that when i try to do so, i get the message that my phone is not rooted.

Without wanting to do a mistake, is there a guide only to root the phone and nothing else???
After rooting i will use mobileuncle app and i will switch the app apply location to SD card and that will cover my needs.

Before i do that i woulf like to know if my auto wifi update will work for the ROM after this apply and if every time i will update it then i must again root the phone(suspect that maybe official updates are locking the phone)

OTA update should work as this is an official ROM.
Once rooted it should stay rooted. On the other side just flashing this zip is no big effort.
