Redmi 12C using a global MIUI

So, I purchased a Redmi 12C in Brazil and I heard that the Redmi 12C is a Chinese exclusive, and the global version is the POCO C55, but my phone is using the global MIUI 14, I checked the MIUI Community website and I noticed that the POCO C55 and the Redmi 12C share the same Global version.
If I download a custom MIUI 14 for the POCO C55, will it work with my Redmi 12C?

Note: it has a MediaTek Helio G85

Is there any chance that in the future MediaTek chips will be supported? If not then thanks for the info.

In any case, MediaTek Helio will not be supported in the future.
