Redmi K40 Gaming Edition Rom

Hey,

If I want to install the xiaomi.eu rom on my K40 Gaming, which one do I use, the regular k40 or the pro? And does anyone know if there is a twrp for it?

None. phones with MediaTek are not supported

There are no Xiaomi.eu ROMs for Xiaomi devices with a MediaTek chipset (Xiaomi.eu support Snapdragon chipsets only)

Why is that? I'm sure these phones are going to be popular, and the chipset itself is going to be in many upcoming phones, so I just don't get that

I checked back some of the dev team posts about this topic, it seems that Mediatek phones are very easy to brick, the devs don't own any of them, and they don't have the time to support them given those conditions.
