Redmi Note 3 Can't Update Miui 6.1.21 And 6.1.29

Hi all,

I used Redmi Note 3 MIUI version 6.1.14|Beta. I have some problem. In last week I have OTA update MIUI 6.1.21 with some message "Changelog is not ready yet. Please wait for a sec" today I have OTA update MIUI 6.1.29 with same message again.

Anyone please help me How to update on OTA without error message ?

No, it isn't help with both ROMs(6.1.21 And 6.1.29). I have the same problem and already tried to download and update without OTA. The phone just rebooted and nothing happens.

You can not install Xiaomi.eu ROM/OTA with Locked bootloader and with Mi Recovery. You need to unlock it first, install TWRP Recovery and then the OTA will install normally. Just ignore the OTA msg..

Any way to install twrp without the bootloader unlocked? I can't find the link to ask for the unlock code...

use 6.1.21, 6.1.29 is buggy like s**t, 6.1.21 has an ota bug too (after restart nothing installs just boots the old 6.1.21) but it's stable enough until there is an updated bugfix version released

No, you still have locked BL, its about account, not about phone. And you bought wrong phone if want OS without bugs).

Ota doesn't work with bootloader locked. Try downloading Loxar rom and use flashtool-rom. Last release 6.2.18. Don't flash to 6.1.29, it's not good. Flash only system or your RN3 could brick...
