Redmi Note 3 (sd) - Wanna Replace Seller Rom

Hi all,

I got my redmi note 3 pro.
I have stable ROM 7.1.9.0 Who came with the phone from the store. I Have many problem with connectivity to cellular network.

Im Planning (and wanna) to install the officail Xiaomi global. (V7.1.8.0.LHOMICL)
I tried updating method through phone app, It didnt work.

Do I need to unlock the phone?
Can I flash official Global ROM without unlocking? through fastboot or other way? (when im in recovery mode Mi suite give me only the Chineze Rom)

You should flash using flashboot. No need to unlock.
