Redmi Note 9S - New apps not working and causing phone to be unresponsive

My 9S is on MIUI 14.0.4..0 I have 23GB internal storage available. All my existing apps work fine (generally), but I am having issues with new apps I have installed. They install OK, but they become unresponsive when I try to open them, and my phone becomes generally unresponsive - black screen for a while, reboots by itself etc. My partner has installed the same apps on her Note 10 and they work fine. I have tried suggestions already found on the web, such as clearing caches, uninstalling/reinstalling the apps etc. Anyone got any ideas? Thanks, C

Try a clean flash or factory reset. Else you might need to change your phone.
