Hi guys, hope to find an idea here.
Current system is 14.0.2.0 global
I have unlocked the device, installed EU-Rom (two years ago). Now i want to sell it and bring everything back to old state.
I found this thread, that flashing boot.img will remove twrp, did not affect.
After some tries, I bricked it to bootloop, format data and fresh install 14.0.2.0
Now the system works well, but still trwp and unlocked.
How can i solve this, please?
Marco

Wiping TWRP will not restore your device. Where did you come up with such nonsense?
You need to install factory ROM using Miflash and lock bootloader.

What exactly is factory rom?
I read it in the above thread. They say, flashing boot.img will remove twrp.

Factory ROM is SW released by Xiaomi for a specific model and region (market)
Changing TWRP to Mi recovery doesn't solve anything. You will still have custom xiaomi.eu ROM and unlocked bootloader.

.

What is the difference flashing a rom with adb or miflash? Will miflash repair the recovery?

OMG.
Get some knowledge. Google is your friend.
- Official ROM cannot be installed using ADB.
- xiaomi.eu is not an official ROM from Xiaomi
Installing with the help of Miflash will bring the device to the state as intended by Xiaomi.
- official ROM
- official recovery
- locks the bootloader

Thank you all. Miflash is crap. It failed all the way.
I finally succeed with xiaomi adb/fastboot tools.
Just deactivate anti-rollback safeguard and choose clean and lock. All is fine now.
Thank you, appreciate.
