[REQ] modding MiuiHome.apk

Allways i Mod the MiuiHome.apk and flash it on my Phone (HTC One Miui v5) via Recovery and restart the Phone i can't see any changes on my Launcher.
I copy the MiuiHome.apk after the flash on my PC and recompile it and the changes are gone and the MiuiHome.apk is like the Original and not like my modded Version.


Any help for this Problem?

or is it possible to change the grid size with my theme?
in the folder com.miui.home and the theme_values.xml ?


edit: i can change the icon size in the dimens.xml but not the cell count in integers.xml...

Well we could release HTC One port and put more grid sizes. Its just an arrays.xml hack in MiHome.

hi, I have the same problems..
with default grid 4x4 or 4x5 miui is like many wasted space on my galaxy note 2
I love miui
I want to mod the launcher grid to 5x5 or 5x6

anyone can help me how to do it
or point me what xml that I should edit?​

It will give you a layout of 4x4, 4x5, 4x6, 5x4, 5x5, 5x6

Unfortunately, flashing this last zip on my SensationXE (ROM 3.9.27) breaks MiuiHome and goes to Nova (I keep that installed just in case).
MiuiHome is not even on the "preferred Launcher" menu anymore.
Am I supposed to make any changes on the files before flashing?

My MiuiHome.apk is probably not compatible with your phone. If you send me your MiuiHome.apk I can mod it reel quick for you. If your comfortable with APKTOOL I can let you know what to change. Its very simple..
