I have a Xiaomi 10S device that I'd like to reset completely (as if it were new).
Unfortunately, I no longer have access to the email address (and lost passwors) I used to register my Mi Account, so I am locked.
Could someone kindly guide me through the process of resetting the device? I already contacted official Xiaomi, provide all data (including IMEI, picture of the box and my old bill for it - still nothing.
PS: To be honest, I wasn’t aware of the security measures in place, so I just performed a factory reset. I’m not quite sure I understand the purpose of this type of security feature. There should be an option that allows you to reset the device while removing all previous data, like other devices do.
Any advice or assistance would be greatly appreciated.
