Ringtone And Sound With Headphones

Hello,

Is it possible to change the behavior of sounds and ringtones when the headphones are connected?
Currently, when connected, all sounds go through the headphones, and while this may seem logical, in practice, it's less useful.

I tend to leave the headphones connected most of the day, but, as most headphones users tend to, I don't have them in my ears all the time.
