Yes. The root is built in. Just enable it in LBE Guard -> Manage Root Permissions.

Is one of the stock apps. Should be in a folder on one of your screens.

Ok found it, but i don't have the acess to change it, it saus i need to install miui developer rom first, but that's what i didn't want to do from the fist place, any other options ?

Already tried the miui forum instead of miuiandroid one? Since the root is built in I don't think someone made an alternate way to root.

  8. If you install the official Xiaomi Dev rom you will have root access and still get OTA updates. Full rom list here just get the latest Development rom and flash using updater app and your all set.

    It goes like this:

    - fresh MI2: you have stock JLB MIUI v4 stable version - NO ROOT.
    - weekly miui.com development versions MIUI v5 + OTA + ROOT
    - miuiandroid.com weekly development versions MIUI v5 + NO OTA + ROOT.

Lots of users downgrade their V5 back to V4? I don't think so...

I did not say that. But I think users should be informed about this.

I found this method for rooting Stable JLB14.0 -- not sure if others are aware or interested.
