Screen lock Pattern or Code overlays Lock Screen

The title says it all, if you secure your phone with a Screen lock Pattern the query for it is unfortunately on top before lock screen, in fact it disables it. That's quite sad, because i like the audio controls on the lock screen. But i can't leave the phone unsecured.

As of HTC Sense the lock screen is on top and after unlocking you are asked for the pattern or the code, same on iPhone.

I would appreciate, if this could be resolved.

Yes! This is something I am also missing. Hopefully someone could whisper this to the MIUI team in China, so it can be done. I really think many people also want this.
