In Progress SGS I9100 Messaging App Issue (2.8.24)

Contacts in my phone do not have country codes included. So when I send an SMS message, it is sent to the number without the code. When I receive the response, another thread is created, because the sender's number now includes the country code.

How can I solve this? Can this be fixed in a small update?

I think this is the same contact attribution bug regressing a bit, or maybe you just haven't wiped in awhile. Wipe dalvik and cache and re-flash.

Since this problem was fixed around 2 months ago.

I have done just that. I have a clean install.
