Resolved SGS3 Compass draining battery.

Am I the only one with this bug? The compass is constantly draining battery in the backgrund and I can't even force stop the application. Any solutions?

hmm try the following :

clear the data and cache from the compass app. then reboot into rec and clear cache and dalvik, then reboot as normal

Well, I don't need the app so I just went ahead and removed the compass all together. But if it happens when I flash another update I will try your solution.

np, we are watching bugs - hopefully we will some kind of quick check doc for users to try and resolve with some simple steps to save having to wait for help etc
