Slow Camera Opening

Hi guys, with eu rom and also using miui pro rom the camera opening is so slow, the screen stay black for 30+ second then the image appears. This happens also with built-in camera in apps like facebook and so on. I thinked about a defective unit but with stock global the phone came with i hadn't this issue.

Anyone else experiencing this issue?

Seems that the problem now is there even with global. So it began after unlocking the device.

If the proximity sensor does not work you probably broke the partition PERSIST.

Copy persist.img from "Xiaomi Mi Note 3 Latest Global Stable Version Fastboot" and rewrite the PERSIST partition with TWRP.

sorry, how do I rewrite the PERSIST? i downloaded the .tar global stable fastboot you linked for mi note 3 but i can't find the persist.img. when i open the .tar with winrar there is only one file

Multumesc mult Sandule, trăiți-ar familia, ca sigur esti român; nu ai idee cat m-a secat faza cu camera; cel putin cand o porneam pe cea frontala, era crima, minim 15 secunde ii lua sa porneasca.

I can confirm that my proximity senzor was not functioning, and starting the back camera take's aprox. 5-10 seconds, and the frontal 15-20 seconds. Also, rotate was not functioning at all. I boot in recovery, install persist.img from the link nofile.io/f/YCdGbkWy4xC/persist.img , reboot, and voila, it's working flawless. I mention that i have XIAOMI Mi Note 3 with rom MIUI 9 by Epic Team, MIUI 8.2.8 Beta with Android 7.1.1. I know, the rom is old, but for me it's working perfect and i i'm happy with that.
