[solved] Google Now Launcher As Default Home

Hey guys,

New to Xiaomi.

Apparently, it's impossible to have Google Now Launcher as the default home app. Is this normal?

Which ROM are you using? Because depending on the ROM it depends what you need to do. I was able to use Google now Launcher on the official Chinese Dev ROM. I would say that doing the same on any other ROM would be even easier because of the provided Google apps required for the same.

I tested Google Now Launcher on MIUI, the integration of user experience isn't that great, so go back to MIUI

I'm using the latest European dev ROM for the Mi 5s.

I don't get any option to change the default launcher in settings.

I use Nova launcher works flawless

just install any launcher and choose it in defauklt apps.
