Anyone tried out the new stable release?

If so, feedback please... Battery, camera auto focus etc. What's the security patch level date and it is possible to go from latest developer to this ROM without wiping data (only wiping cache and davlik)?

There is a thread on miui official forum on how to flash, you'll loose TWRP recovery in the proces. So I'll wont try it. And you must do clean install. Was hoping for this rom to be coocked for redmi pro EU.rom Stable.Because we Will have to wait till late september for miui9. There's also a full changelog on miui official forum.I'll try to post link.

Thanks! Why is it that this will lose TWRP? I've gone between Dev and stable previously (can't remember which way) with no issues. Secondly, this is an EU version.

Okay, I flashed 8.5.3 over 8.5.2 and it worked. No wipes, camera focus works, battery drain 5% over night, 2017.05.07 security patch

I am on Globe Rom 7.6.10. If I install this ROM using TWRP, do I surely lose TWRP?

twrp is present,its 8.5.3 EU stable,but i think 8.5.2 EU stable is the way to go,battery life is better, I did app and system backup with system miui backup tool. Did a clean wipe,all except system and external storage.Make sure your rom to install is on external SD.Also format data ( type yes)install rom, then supersu if root is needed wipe cache,dalvik cache,reboot.wait for the rom to install.Setup device then restore backup apps and system from miui backup tool. Done

Yes,I think so,but you Will need a backup from your apps ,so you van restore them

1. You have to unlock bootloader(You're sending a request to miui)
2. Install TWRP
3. In TWRP instal EU rom
I backup with Super Backup & Restore on Google Play.

From 8.0.7 which was fake rom they say i flashed eu rom 8.5.3.0 thru twrp. Cache and dalvik only cleared. Twrp maintained but i reflashed supersu. Bootloader unlocked at the start.
