Suggest music player

Hi all,

Could you suggest good music player?

I used n7, however, the player just stop at some point ;(

What do you use?

Note: i listen very loud, so i'm looking for very good sound quality

Stock MIUI player? For sound quality you can install ViperFX mod. The new 2.3.2.6 version works very well with MI3 Android 4.3.

Does viperfx mod work with stock music player? I have the latest version installed but it isn't working with stock player. I have to use it in compatible mode with poweramp which I hate.
Can you share how you got it working?

Well It works 100% with my MIUIPolska rom for MI3, and its integrated with the system Settings.
For me I need to have /etc/audio-effects.conf properly modified (just add viper fx lib into that file) and have proper Viper FX library in /lib/soundfx.

Put this file into /system/etc/
http://91.205.75.29/Acid/misc/viper/audio_effects.conf

Put this file into /system/lib/soundfx:
http://91.205.75.29/Acid/misc/viper/libv4a_fx_ics.so

Install Viper FX 2.3.2.6 from here:

Install as normal app.

I don't know for sure if this steps are working because my built in ViperFX in MIUIPolska rom has some difference but this also might work.

Hi @Acid, where can I find the /system/lib and the /system/etc on the MI3? I have root permission on, but I can't find it. Sorry if the question is stupid for you and many others. Thanks.

EDIT: found with ES Explorer, but have I to change the permission? How? Thanks

Yes, set permissions like for other files in this place. Mostly you need to set 644.

Can I lower the call volume with this as well? The lowest stock setting for my Mi3T is still very loud...
