The displayed figures on my device are different (sometimes quite different) than the figures reported by the device over bluetooth. Especially if the temperature is changing fairly quickly.
My thoughts are that the display changes fairly slowly to conserve energy and lag the real temperature by quite some time, and that the bluetooth reports are more accurate.
Is that the case?
I can put the device in my hand and the bluetooth report will rapidly rise, while the display only very slowly. The display never gets as high as the bluetooth report (although possibly only because I put the device down before it can).
Can anyone give me a more accurate idea of what is happening?

I have been watching it for a while longer. Even at a fairly steady state, the numbers don't match. They might be 0.3 degrees apart, which is okay for my application, but why would they be different at all?
