Temperature of 40º celcius while charging - is it normal?

I checked my battery stats and it's says Good. I've acessed the battery info to check how much I've already used of the total battery life span ( i have this phone for about a month and half now) and it seems that it still has 92,7% left. Is it good?

Where?

Your phone is newer, it may have more options/info than mine.

This is A10 MIUI 12.5.1 EU

Dial *#*#6485#*#* then divide the number of actual battery you currently have for the factory battery life and multiply for 100.

That's why I asked if 92,7 % for a phone that I have for a month and half is good or if it means too much battery usage

*#*#6485#*#*
Not working here

Wait

Had another Dialer.

Forgot about this.

But also forgot the meaning of the MF/MB...

Looks like this in yours?

But there, there's no MF5/6

Not found any explanation yet on inet.

Have to find another screenshot I did a year ago when knew.that.

It was on Chinese Rom and old MIUI and thought it was related to that.

Now I recalled.

Some values are still the same if I'm not wrong, like stuck or a problem in sensor.

This 7 Pro had 3 Roms, then should be fixed o
If Rom related I guess.

They were replaced by MM values. You have to check them. Mines were MM_5: 4 450 000/MM_6: 4 800 000. By diving these numbers and multiplying by 100 gives me 92,7%

Those values doesn't exist either.

You can check the screenshot and see.

Wow!

I've reversed the data.

34, Right

It seems still very good if the math are correct.

Hmmm...

Haven't noticed nothing special.
And since when outside I usually use the Cam and Record the drain is normal.

Will check with local Music player, afaik the drain is very few but usually I use online players and the drain is noticeable between them.

I'll check on the RN5Pro too.

Thanks

Thank you! I'll check out those chargers and leave you updated. By the way, since when do you have your phone?

This remembered also to check a problem with Pandora App about temperature and bat as well.

Xiaomi Battery App marked it as the most drainer app when using it, even Vanced and others were cooler that it.

Will see how it works on the next days since just downgraded.

Thx again.

This is 2 1/2 years old and has quite active daily use.

No gaming but screen awake with different apps, Browsing, Telegram, YouTube, Mailing, Cam/Record...

No problem. I'll keep you updated. Can we talk through chat?

Yes.

Just trying AccuBattery since recommend on a Spanish RN7Pro forum, and seems it can detect the battery health.

It has lots of information, you can check it.

I'll monitorize and see what's the results about.

Good morning. Yea, i've downloaded the app yesterday. How can I check the battery health? Only after I charge the phone, right?

Good Afternoon,

The App says it needs 5' recharge.

I did for an hour, and the mesure fluctuate between 3200-3800mA.

Since read on the Spanish forum, it needs a week at least to calibrate with enough data.

On XDA there's a topic talking about, might generate more confusion but to consider.

They don't have too much confidence to their values.

I've read it now. But do you think that a battery health at 92.7% after 6 weeks of use is normal?

I can't consider it as good but neither 34% after barely 3 years with very few cycles.

But I guess it depends on the charging habits, usual temp conditions and expects about the Tech.

Despite the numbers, is the daily holding bat what can be taken in count.

Whether you see a deficiency or not.

--
As an example,
A Samsung's laptop with Bios Bat calibration and 80% stopper battery charge, holds more between 100-80 than 80-0, so that rule works.

Why mobile/tablet doesn't integrate this option as default?

Despite those devices has an intensive use some rutines would allow to use it and keep the bats for longer which could cause to not invest in a new battery or mobile replacement for long in a market where every year are lots of new models.
