Transferring Data From Old Mi Note To Mi Mix 2

Hi all, just about to get a mi mix 2, and wanted to know what's the best way to transfer my data (text msg, app data) across to the new phone?

Apps I can download from scratch, contacts and calendar is Google sync, but how about text messages, WiFi networks, WhatsApp messages.. is there a quick and painless way to set up the new phone with old data?
