Hi, I have removed all data from mobile and when re-starting it requires me to "Activate this device" and then asked my for MI account password which I didn't even remember I have one. so I went online into MI, I entered phone number and got a code sent to my email; with this I created a new password and I opened my account. Here I could see my new Xiaomi mobile and the old one so I selected the old one and I deleted. Then I went to my old Xiaomi mobile and still ask me for a password, I entered the newly created password and it does not work so I can not use the mobile at all. Is it possible to fix this? the mobile also gives me and unlock code; what is this for? The only think I can do is to enter into fastboot, delete data again and then I got the same request for activating the device and for me to enter my MI account password which I am guessing must be the password I entered years ago when I bought the mobile because the new password I created does not work.
