Unable to change region

I installed Xiaomi.eu on my Poco F1 and then reverted to miui 10 global stable.
When I tried to change region I realised that it was stuck in China region.
Any idea why this happened?Any fix?

The EU ROMs do not allow changing the region, rather it is "hard-wired" to Poland.

I understand this,but now I'm running MIUI 10 Global and still can't change region.
