Unable to receive one time password from Banks.

Hi, anyone facing similar issue? The one time password is confirmed to be sent out by the service provider (banks) but jus not received on my Hongmi.

Other smses receiving just fine thou.

Help please...

Check the filter for Messaging.

Go to Messaging -> Firewall -> Settings -> Turn off Filter Spam Messages

Actually, there seems to be the same issue on my side when using the SIM on the 2nd slot.

Are you using only one SIM? If not, try switching the SIMs and test again.

There is a bug in Stable 5.0 ROM for Hongmi causing that messages comming from text (usually used with banks) aren't displayed while another one is in memory. To work way arround it is to delete all previous messages from bank.

Hope this bug will be repaired in 6.0

I encounter the same thing, too.

I am glad i found this information here. I was trying to solve this probelm for a whole day. I try removing sim card, sd card, reboot, remove apps, chamge permission, etc...all were useless, until i remove the previous messages from the bank.

Xiaomi, please help to solve this bug.

This is quite distressing for anyone who did not know this workaround.

I wonder if this applies to all automated sms from other agencies such as library reminder, etc.. I have to wait and see...
