If you want to move to MIUI 8, need to install a weekly MIUI ROM, you can update the usually every Friday.
The latest weekly ROM is 6.6.30
Since you'll havea Stable ROM, make wipe data, wipe cache and wipe dalwik.
I do not know what you have on your phone, make a backup. Use Mi cloud, or Google services, or micro sd card.

Yes that is link to stable rom but the wrong one. HMNote2 is your phones codename if it is Redmi Note 2. So no, that link is wrong, it's for Redmi Note 3.

I'm already using eu MIUI. And yes, I think I downloaded the wrong ROM. But I'm not yet installing it. Will download the right ROM now.

That is the right rom.

If your current rom is MIUI 7 stable, just open updater app, select the file package and it will do the rest.

Make sure to backup your device first just in case.

How do I install this weekly ROM? I'm disappointed with this stable MIUI 8. Too much trouble and the battery drained so quick, sometimes I have to charge 4 times a day.
