Update Miui 9

Hi,
I Have a Mi Max standard edition (32GB). In last week i updated It from MIUI 8.1.5.0 Stable (Android 6) to Miui MIUI 9 7.8.17 Dev (Android 7). Yesterday I received the notification of updating, but before Do I have to Unlock the Bootloader again or Can I Update normally from TWRP?

You can update through twrp.

Really? I had read if u update from Android 6 to Android 7 with Mi Max the Bootloader Will be Lock.
So Can I Update normally?

You have said you're already on MIUI 9.You can check it on "Developer options" (OEM status)anyway through twrp no matter BL locked go ahead!

Yes I'm with MIUI 9, but in This forum i had read a few weeks ago if u update your Mi Max from Android 6 to Android 7 the Bootloader Will be Lock. So to update again should Unlock the Bootloader before

Again? Unlocked BL is only needed to use Fastboot,you have custom recovery like TWRP, right? use it! You can flash anything you want making a backup of the ROM in use before flashing and you can revert to it if something goes wrong or dislikes. Just an advice if your gonna flash official miui ROM delete "recovery from boot" or you'll loose TWRP. My other suggestion use xiaomi.eu ROMs to avoid it.

eu rom MIUI 9 7.9.14 is running nicely. All Apps are working fine ! Happy!

If you're on Stable rom no update for you yet,but you can update to the Global beta miui 9 if you want.
