Updating to new version_Desire

I have updated MIUI from 1.11.18 to 1.11.25 and i'm new to MIUI.

After update was downloaded phone restarts and exclamation mark appears. I go to recovery mode and don't know what then.

Do I have to do those resets in recovery as when flashing new rom or just chuse option to install zip from sd ?

I would like that after update all my system settings stay the same. MIUI Backup was done before updating.

just choose to install zip from sd card, the file is located in downloaded_rom folder or something like that

I'm having problems with my Desire though as it always gets stuck on HTC splash screen after update and then I have to do those resets to get it to work
