I am interested in buying either a xiaomi mi note or mi4, however I live in Australia. My family lives in China and can buy it from there but I was wondering if it would be compatible in Australia, specifically on virgin mobile. Are they readily available to buy in China or do you have to wait a long time?
On the Virgin Website it says: 3G (UMTS 900MHz/2100MHz) and 4G Plus (FDD LTE 700 / 1800 / 2100 / 2600 /TD LTE 2300 MHz). I don't understand this stuff so could someone please confirm that it will work?
Also I would like to hear your guys experiences with buying the phone from overseas did u have any problems? I know there is no google play, facebook, youtube, etc and some other apps, however I have heard you can somehow download it on to it? Would you need to root it or is there a safe way to do it?
