I have a Redmi Note 3 (not really sure which - pro? not pro? snapdragon? mediatek? how can I check that?) and it's running MIUI 7 by xiaomi.eu 6.1.14 | beta.
I want to install a new ROM from xiaomi.eu, which gets updates regularly (OTA?).
I tried to follow the "ultimate-guide-how-to-unlock-bootloader-root-and-flash-recovery-on-redmi-note-3.29213" but I guess it's not relevant anymore.
Also - I applied for phone unlocking via the official MIUI site.
Should I update my android version? and why?
There are so many guides and instructions.
What? How? Why?
